Removal Procedure

- Camshaft Timing Chain-Left Side Remove - Camshaft Timing Chain Assembly Replacement - Left Side (LGX)
- Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield- Remove - Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield Replacement
- Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe- Remove - Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Replacement (LGX)
- Catalytic Converter-Left Side - Remove - Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (LGX)
- Oil Level Indicator Tube- Remove - Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement (LGX)
- Remove the ground wire bolt and ground wire.
- Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.
- Camshaft-Left Side Remove - Camshaft Replacement - Left Side (LGX)
- Camshaft Carrier-Left Side - Remove - Camshaft Carrier Removal - Left Side
- Remove and DISCARD the 2 front M8 left cylinder head bolts (1).
- Cylinder Head Bolt- Remove and DISCARD
- Cylinder Head Assembly - Remove
- Cylinder Head Gasket- Remove and DISCARD
- Cylinder Head Cleaning and Inspection
- Engine Block Cleaning and Inspection
- Disassemble the cylinder head as necessary. Cylinder Head Disassemble (LGX)
