Removal Procedure

Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (V-Series) .

Disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (1).

Using a 22 mm angle head open end wrench, or equivalent, remove the backup lamp switch (1).
