Inverter Lever Install

  1. Temporarily remove the clutch housing bolts (1).

  2. Temporarily remove the clutch housing assembly (1).

  3. Install the manual transmission selector lever (1).

  4. Install the manual transmission selector lever pivot pin (1). Tighten to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

  5. Install the manual transmission shift lever retainer (1).

  6. Apply a 1.7 mm (0.07 in) bead of RTV sealant (1) to the clutch housing. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (MG9) Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (M3L)

  7. Install the clutch housing assembly (1)

  8. Install the clutch housing bolts (1). Tighten to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  3. Install the manual transmission selector lever (1).

  4. Install the manual transmission selector lever pivot pin (1). Tighten to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

  8. Install the clutch housing bolts (1). Tighten to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  9. Remove the transmission (4) from the DT-47678  flange (2) and the DT-47678-10  flange adapter (3).
