Removal Procedure

- Front Suspension Strut Upper Mounting Cap - Remove
DISCARD the cap.
- Remove the front suspension strut bumper stop (1).
- Remove the front suspension strut mount upper cup (2).
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (V-Series)

- Disconnect the electronic suspension wiring connector (1) and remove the electronic suspension wiring harness clip (2) from the front strut assembly bracket.
- Remove the front wheel speed sensor harness clip (3) from the front strut assembly bracket.

- Front Stabilizer Shaft Link @Strut Assembly - Remove Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (Non V-Series) Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (V-Series)
- Front Suspension Strut Nut - Remove
- Front Suspension Strut Bolt - Remove
- Partially lower the vehicle.
- Front Suspension Strut Upper Mounting Nut - Remove
- Raise the vehicle.
- Front Suspension Strut - Remove
- Transfer components as necessary.
NOTE:
Some vehicles may NOT have a front suspension strut upper mounting cap. If no cap is present then continue to Step 2.
NOTE:
If the front suspension strut mount upper cup and front suspension strut bumper stop are NOT already installed then continue to Step 4.
