Removal Procedure

  1. Battery Negative Cable - Disconnect Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Front Compartment Front Sight Shield - Remove Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (Sedan)Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (Coupe)Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (ATS-V) .

  3. Release the tabs on each side of the pre fuse block cover (1) and pull upward to remove.

  4. Lift the tab on the front compartment fuse block housing cover (1) upward and twist the cover 90 degrees to disengage the cover from the hinge.

  5. Battery Positive Cable Junction Block Lead Nut (1) - Remove
  6. Battery Positive Cable Junction Block Nut (2) - Remove
  7. Accessory Power Fuse Block Front Wiring Harness Nut (3) - Remove

  12. Release the 4 retainer tabs using a suitable hook-like tool to release the locking levers to allow the locking levers to be rotated to the full up position on the front compartment fuse block housing (1).
  13. Remove the front compartment fuse block housing (1) by lifting on the locking levers, then with a slight shaking motion on the locking levers remove the front compartment fuse block housing from the fuse block housing base.
