Installation Procedure

  1. Position the front compartment fuse block housing (1) by pressing down on the locking levers, then with a slight shaking motion on the locking levers seat the front compartment fuse block housing.
  2. Press the locking levers in the full down position to the fuse block housing (1). To engage the 4 retainer tabs using light pressure on the locking levers to allow the locking levers to be rotated to the full down position.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Fuse Battery Distribution Unit Engine Compartment Block Nut (1) - Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)

  5. Engine Wiring Harness Terminal and Nut (1) - Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  6. Forward Lamp Wiring Harness Terminal and Nut (2) - Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)

  7. Accessory Power Fuse Block Front Wiring Harness Nut (3) - Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  8. Battery Positive Cable Junction Block Nut (2) - Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  9. Battery Positive Cable Junction Block Lead Nut (1) - Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
