Installation Procedure

- Prepare the brake caliper bolts and steering knuckle threaded holes for assembly:
- Thoroughly clean the residue from the bolt threads with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.
- Thoroughly clean the residue from the threaded holes with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.
- Apply threadlocker to 2/3 of the threaded length of the caliper bolts. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Ensure there are no gaps in the threadlocker along the length of the filled area of the bolts.
- Allow the threadlocker to cure approximately 10 minutes before installation.
- Brake Caliper - Install
- Brake Caliper Bolt - Install
Tighten
- First Pass: 150 N.m (111 lb ft)
- Final Pass: 30 degrees
- Brake Hose Fitting Gasket at Brake Hose Fitting - Install
- Brake Hose Fitting Bolt - Install 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
- Front Disc Brake Pads Replacement (J6G) - Install
- Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual)Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure)

Refer to Fastener Caution .
NOTE:
Install NEW brake hose fitting gaskets.
