Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
- Exhaust Manifold Brace Remove - Exhaust Manifold Brace Replacement (LTG)
- Engine Mount Bracket-Left Side Remove - Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side (LTG)
- Thermostat Bypass Hose Clamp - Disengage
- Engine Oil Cooler Inlet Hose Clamp - Disengage
- Thermostat Bypass Pipe Bolt - Remove
- Thermostat Bypass Pipe - Remove
- Thermostat Bypass Pipe Gasket - Remove and DISCARD
