Installation Procedure

- Thermostat Bypass Pipe Gasket - Install
- Thermostat Bypass Pipe - Install
- Thermostat Bypass Pipe Bolt - Install and tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
- Engine Oil Cooler Inlet Hose Clamp - Engage
- Thermostat Bypass Hose Clamp - Engage
- Engine Mount Bracket-Left Side Install - Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side (LTG)
- Exhaust Manifold Brace Install - Exhaust Manifold Brace Replacement (LTG)
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
- Start the engine and check for leaks.
NOTE:
Install a NEW thermostat bypass pipe gasket.
