Removal Procedure

  1. Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement Remove
  2. Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Non V-Series)Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (V-Series) Remove -Left Side

  3. Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Retaining Clip at Radiator Remove - Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection 
    4. NOTE:

    Cover or plug all open transmission fluid cooler pipe connection points to help avoid any accidental contamination.

  4. Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe at Radiator Remove
  5. Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Retaining Clip at Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Outlet Pipe Remove - Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection 
    6. NOTE:

    Cover or plug all open transmission fluid cooler pipe connection points to help avoid any accidental contamination.

  6. Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe at Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Outlet Pipe Remove

  7. Remove the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe clip bolt (1) from the engine oil pan.

  8. Remove the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe bolt (1) from the transmission.
    9. NOTE:

    Cover or plug all open transmission fluid cooler pipe connection points to help avoid any accidental contamination.

  9. Remove the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (2) from the transmission.

  10. Remove the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe fitting seal (1).

    DISCARD the seal.

  11. Remove the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (1) from the vehicle.
  12. Transfer components as necessary.
