Installation Procedure

- Install the heater inlet hose (2) and clamp (1) to the heater inlet hose connector.
- Engage tension on the heater inlet hose clamp (1) at the heater inlet hose connector using BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers.
- Install the heater inlet hose (1) to the retainer.
- Install the right front end sheet metal diagonal brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement - Right Side (ATS-V)Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement - Right Side .
- Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LGX) .
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (V-Series) .
- Install the heater inlet hose (2) clamp (1) to the heater inlet pipe.
- Engage tension on the heater inlet hose clamp (1) at the heater inlet pipe using BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers.
- Install the right side catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (LGX) .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Fill the engine cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) .
- Check the cooling system for leaks. Refer to Cooling System Leak Testing .
NOTE:
Lubricate the inside diameters of the heater inlet hose with clean coolant prior to installation.
