Removal Procedure

- Relieve the system fuel pressure. Fuel Pressure Relief
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LGX)
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the engine. Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the retainers (2).
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (V-Series)
- Remove the underbody front air deflector right side. Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement - Right Side
- Remove the front body exhaust heat shield right side. Front Body Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement (Right)Front Body Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement (Left)
- Remove the right side catalytic converter and exhaust. Exhaust System Replacement (LGX)
- Disconnect the fuel feed pipe (1) and remove from retainers (2). Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the vehicle.
