Installation Procedure

- Mid Lower Intermediate Steering Shaft @ Intermediate Steering Shaft - Install
- Mid Lower Intermediate Steering Shaft Bolt - Clean the threads of the bolt with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.
- Mid Lower Intermediate Steering Shaft Bolt - Apply NEW thread locking adhesive. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Mid Lower Intermediate Steering Shaft Bolt - Install and tighten 36 N.m (27 lb ft)
- Press in the lock pin on the mid lower intermediate steering shaft and pull the mid intermediate steering shaft (2) downward and forward along the axis of the upper intermediate steering shaft onto the mid lower shaft. Ensure the lock pin seats correctly.
- Mid Intermediate Steering Shaft Bolt - Clean the threads of the bolt with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.
- Mid Intermediate Steering Shaft Bolt - Apply NEW thread locking adhesive. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Mid Intermediate Steering Shaft Bolt - Install and tighten 36 N.m (27 lb ft)
