1	Sealant Procedure Ensure proper use of room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant. Use of Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) and Anaerobic Sealant Place a 3 mm (0.118 in) bead of RTV sealant on the block pan rail and the crankshaft rear oil seal housing (1). Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for recommended sealant.
2	Oil Pan
3	Oil Pan Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: Install NEW bolts. Do NOT reuse old bolts. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown. Tighten First Pass: 7 N.m (62 lb in) Final Pass: 180 Degrees
4	Oil Pan Bolt NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
5	Oil Pan Bolt (Qty: 3) NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
6	Oil Pan Bolt (Qty: 9) NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
7	Oil Pan Bolt NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
