Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Engine Front Cover (9) - Engine Front Cover Replacement 
  2. Remove the left side timing chain tensioner, shoe, and guide. Camshaft Timing Chain Components Removal .
  3. Clean and inspect all of the camshaft timing drive components. Camshaft Timing Drive Components Cleaning and Inspection .Replace components as necessary.
