Powertrain Mount Balancing

Remove Air Cleaner Assembly - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
Install Engine Support Fixture - Engine Support Fixture
Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

Loosen Rear Transmission Mount Through Bolt (1)

Loosen Front Transmission Mount Through Bolt (1)
Lower the vehicle.

Loosen Transmission Mount Bolt (3)

Loosen Engine Mount Fastener (2)
Adjust the engine support fixture in order to allow a 1/8 inch gap between the mount and bracket.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Loosen Transmission Mount Bolt (3) 100 N.m (74 lb ft)

Engine Mount Fastener (2) 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
Remove Engine Support Fixture - Engine Support Fixture
Shake the powertrain vigorously from front to rear and allow the powertrain to settle.
Raise the vehicle.

Tighten Rear Transmission Mount Through Bolt (1) - Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (All Wheel Drive)Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)
Lower the vehicle.
Install Air Cleaner Assembly - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
