Installation Procedure

  1. Install the NEW O-ring (1) on the oil level indicator tube (2)

  2. Position the oil level indicator tube (1) by sliding the tube down and in to the approximate location of the lower crankcase hole.
  3. Guide the lower portion of the oil level indicator tube into the lower crankcase hole and seat the oil level indicator tube in place.
  4. Attach wiring harness retainers as necessary.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Install Oil Level Indicator Tube Bracket Bolt (1) and tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
