Installation Procedure

  1. Install NEW Intake Manifold Gasket (1)
  2. Apply a 5 mm (0.20 in) band of threadlock to the threads of the intake manifold bolts. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
  3. Remove the covers from the cylinder head passages.
  4. Install Intake Manifold - Intake Manifold Installation

  5. Install Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Pipe (2) - Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Pipe Replacement (LGX)
  6. Install Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve- Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement
  7. Install Throttle Body Assembly - Throttle Body Assembly Replacement
  8. Install Intake Manifold Cover - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
