Installation Procedure

- Assemble the camshaft cover as needed. Camshaft Cover Assemble
- Place a bead 8 mm (0.3150 in) in width by 4 mm (0.1575 in) in height of RTV sealant equivalent, on the engine front cover split lines (1). Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Install a NEW Camshaft Cover Seal (2)
- Install Camshaft Cover (3)
- Loosely install Camshaft Cover Bolt (4)
- Camshaft Cover Bolt (4) Tighten in the sequence shown. 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
- Position and install the engine harness to the camshaft cover.
- Install Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid - Bank 2 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 2 (Left Side) Intake
- Install Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid - Bank 2 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 2 (Left Side) Exhaust
- Install Ignition Coil - Bank 2 Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 2
- Connect Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube @Camshaft Cover
- Install Camshaft Housing Cover Insulator Replacement - Left Side
