Installation Procedure

  1. Using the outline made by the spray paint or marker, position the transmission mount to the drivetrain and front suspension cradle.
    2. Fig 1: Transmission Mount To Bracket Through Bolt And Rear Mount To Drivetrain And Front Suspension Cradle Bolts

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the NEW transmission rear mount bolts (2) and nuts and tighten the bolts to 100 N.m (74 lb ft) plus 60 to 75 degrees.
  3. Install the drivetrain and front suspension cradle to it's original position. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (FWD)
  4. Install the transmission mount to bracket through bolt (1) and tighten to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
  5. Remove the jack stand.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
