Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  2. Remove Rear Wheelhouse Liner. Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement

  3. Disconnect { If equipped }Electrical Connector (1) @Rear Shock Absorber (2)
  4. Remove { If equipped }Wiring Harness@Rear Shock Absorber and position aside
  5. Support the lower control arm with a tall jack stand.

  6. Remove Rear Shock Absorber Nut (1)
  7. Rear Shock Absorber Bolt (2) and DISCARD
