Removal Procedure

  1. Set the park brake and chock the wheels.
  2. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement
  3. Disconnect the range selector cable from the range selector lever. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement 
  4. Remove the auxiliary fluid accumulator pipe bolts (1).
  5. Remove the auxiliary fluid accumulator pipe (2).
  6. Remove the auxiliary fluid accumulator pipe seals (3) from the pipe and DISCARD.
  7. Disconnect the auxiliary fluid accumulator solenoid electrical connector (4).
  8. Remove the auxiliary fluid accumulator bolts (5).
  9. Remove the auxiliary fluid accumulator (6) from the transmission.
  10. Remove the auxiliary fluid accumulator bypass valve seal (7) from the auxiliary fluid accumulator (6) and DISCARD the seal.
