Installation Procedure

  1. Install Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bracket (2)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install and tighten Instrument Panel Bolts (1) (Qty: 2) to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

  3. With the aid of an assistant, load the instrument panel assembly (1) to the instrument panel tie bar to the locator pins.
  4. Reposition the instrument panel wiring harness into the vehicle position as was noted in the removal and connect the fasteners securing the instrument panel wiring harness to the instrument panel assembly (1).

  5. Install and tighten Instrument Panel Airbag Bolts (1) (Qty: 3) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  6. Install and tighten Instrument Panel Bolts (1) (Qty: 3) to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

  7. Install and tighten Instrument Panel Bolts (1) (Qty: 12) to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

  8. Install and tighten Instrument Panel Bolts (1) (Qty: 6) to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

  21. Install and tighten Front Floor Console Trim Plate Bolts (2) (Qty: 2) to 1 N.m (9 lb in)
  22. Install Front Floor Console Cup Holder Liner (1).
