Installation Procedure

  1. With the aid of an assistant, position the instrument panel tie bar assembly into the vehicle.
  2. Install the instrument panel wiring harness assembly to the position noted in the removal procedure.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install and tighten Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolts (1) (Qty: 2) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
    4. Fig 2: Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolts

  4. Install and tighten Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolts (1) (Qty: 3) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  5. Install and tighten Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolts (1) (Qty: 2) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  6. Install and tighten Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolts (1) (Qty: 2) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  7. Install and tighten Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  8. Install Windshield Wiper Transmission (2). Refer to Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement

  9. Install and tighten Brake Pedal Bracket Bolt (1) (Qty: 2) to 15 N.m (11 lb ft)

  10. Install and tighten Brake Pedal Bracket Bolt (1) to 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
