Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) . Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
1	Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Retaining Clip
2	Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Procedure Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the engine coolant temperature sensor. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor from the thermostat housing. Install a NEW seal if not replacing the sensor.

Procedure

Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor from the thermostat housing.
Install a NEW seal if not replacing the sensor.
