Installation Procedure

  1. Install the NEW Power Transfer Unit Intermediate Drive Shaft Seal (3) using DT-51835  Seal Installer and J-42176  Driver Handle.
  2. Install the NEW Power Transfer Unit Half Shaft Seal O-Ring (2).
  3. Install the NEW Power Transfer Unit Intermediate Drive Shaft Clip (1).
  4. Install the power transfer unit to the vehicle. Refer to Power Transfer Unit Case Replacement
