Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
  2. Remove Heater Inlet Hose (Qty: 2) @ Heater Inlet Hose Connector. Refer to Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LGX with Rear Aux HVAC Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe to Quick Connect Connector) Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LGX with Rear Aux HVAC Quick Connect Connector to Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Intermediate Tube) Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LCV with Rear Aux HVAC Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe to Quick Connect) Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LCV with Rear Aux HVAC Quick Connect Connector to Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Intermediate Tube) 
1 Heater Inlet Hose Connector Retainer
2 Heater Inlet Hose Connector

Procedure

  1. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
  2. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
