Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
    2. Fig 1: Floor Front Air Outlet Duct - Left Side

  2. Remove Floor Front Air Outlet Duct - Left Side (2). Refer to Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side

  3. Remove Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Left (1). Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement - Left Side

  4. Remove Heater Core Bracket Bolts (1) (Qty: 2)

  5. Rotate the heater core (1) bracket downward.

  6. Disengage Heater Core Tube Clamps (1) (Qty: 2)
  7. Remove Heater Core Tubes (2) (Qty: 2) @ Heater Core
  8. DISCARD the O-ring seals (Qty: 2).
