Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger to the vehicle.

  2. Install Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Front Compartment Side Rail

  3. Install a NEW sealing washers (3) (Qty: 2)
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Intermediate Tube
  5. Install and tighten Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Nuts (2) (Qty: 2) @ Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Intermediate Tube to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  6. Install a NEW sealing washers (2) (Qty: 2)
  7. Install Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve
  8. Install and tighten Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Nut (3) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  9. Install Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (2) @ Front Wheelhouse Panel
  10. Install and tighten Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Nut (1) @ Front Wheelhouse Panel to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  11. Install Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Front Compartment Side Rail

  12. Install a NEW sealing washer (3).
  13. Install Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser
  14. Install and tighten Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Nut (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  15. Install Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Replacement (LCV)

  16. Install Engine Mount Brace (2). Refer to Engine Mount Brace Replacement
  17. Install Air Cleaner Outlet Duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
  18. Recharge the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf)
