Removal Procedure

WARNING:
Refer to R-1234yf Proper Service Procedures Warning .
- Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf)
- Remove Intake Air Duct. Refer to Intake Air Duct Replacement
- Remove Air Conditioning Compressor Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor
- Remove Air Conditioning Compressor Stud (3) @ Air Conditioning Compressor
- Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (4) @ Air Conditioning Compressor
- Remove and DISCARD the sealing washers (2) (Qty: 2). Refer to Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement
- Disconnect all electrical connectors.
- Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser
- Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser
- Remove and DISCARD the sealing washer (3).
- Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Clamp Bracket Nut (1) @ Forward Lamp Wiring Harness (2)
- Position Forward Lamp Wiring Harness (2)
- Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose
- Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger
- Remove and DISCARD the sealing washer (3).
- Unclip the wire harness from the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose.
- Remove the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose (2) from the vehicle.
NOTE:
It will be necessary to remove the air conditioning compressor stud and air conditioning compressor and condenser hose at the same time do to clearance.
