Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2017 GMC Acadia. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose to the vehicle.
- Install a NEW sealing washer (3).
- Install Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger
- Install and tighten Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Clip the wire harness to the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose.
- Install Forward Lamp Wiring Harness (2)
- Install and tighten Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Clamp Bracket Nut (1) @ Forward Lamp Wiring Harness (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Install a NEW sealing washer (3).
- Install Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser
- Install and tighten Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install NEW sealing washers (2) (Qty: 2)
- Install Air Conditioning Compressor Hose (4) @ Air Conditioning Compressor
- Install and tighten Air Conditioning Compressor Stud (3) @ Air Conditioning Compressor to 10 N.m (89 lb in)
- Install and tighten Air Conditioning Compressor Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Install Intake Air Duct. Refer to Intake Air Duct Replacement
- Recharge the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf)
CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

NOTE:
It will be necessary to install the air conditioning compressor stud and air conditioning compressor and condenser hose at the same time do to clearance.
