Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Refer to SAE J2913 Certified Electronic Leak Detectors Warning .

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf) 
  2. Remove Intake Air Duct. Refer to Intake Air Duct Replacement

  3. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor
  4. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Compressor
  5. Remove and DISCARD the sealing washers (1) (Qty: 2). Refer to Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement

  6. Disconnect all electrical connectors.
  7. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser
  8. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser
  9. Remove and DISCARD the sealing washer (3).

  10. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Clamp Bracket Nut (1) @ Forward Lamp Wiring Harness (2)
  11. Position Forward Lamp Wiring Harness (2) aside

  12. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose
  13. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger
  14. Remove and DISCARD the sealing washer (3).
  15. Remove the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose (2) from the vehicle.
