Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Refer to SAE J2913 Certified Electronic Leak Detectors Warning .

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf) 
  2. Remove Drive Belt @ Air Conditioning Compressor. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement

  3. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (4) @ Air Conditioning Compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Replacement (LGX) 
  4. Remove Front Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement

  5. Remove Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace - Right Side (2). Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement - Right Side

  6. Disconnect all electrical connectors.
  7. Remove Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (2) @ Air Conditioning Compressor
  8. Position wire harness (1) aside.

  9. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor

  10. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor Nut (3) @ Air Conditioning Compressor (1)
  11. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (2) @ Air Conditioning Compressor (1)
  12. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor Stud (4) @ Air Conditioning Compressor (1)
  13. Remove the air conditioning compressor (1) from the vehicle.
