Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air conditioning compressor (1) to the vehicle.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install and tighten Air Conditioning Compressor Stud (4) @ Air Conditioning Compressor (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  3. Install and tighten Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (2) (Qty: 2) @ Air Conditioning Compressor (1) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  4. Install and tighten Air Conditioning Compressor Nut (3) @ Air Conditioning Compressor (1) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  5. Connect the electrical connectors.

  6. Install Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Replacement (LCV)

  7. Install Exhaust Front Pipe (1). Refer to Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LCV)
  8. Install Drive Belt @ Air Conditioning Compressor. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement
  9. Recharge the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf)
