Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the camshaft position actuator and camshaft - exhaust. Refer to Camshaft Position Actuator and Camshaft Replacement - Exhaust .
    2. Fig 1: Exhaust Rocker Arms

    NOTE:

    Keep all of the Valve Rocker Arms and hydraulic lash adjusters in order so that they can be reinstalled in their respective locations.

  2. Remove the exhaust rocker arm (1).
