Lower Crankcase Removal

Fig 1: Oil Pump Flow Control Valve And Bolts

Remove the oil pump flow control valve (2) and bolts (1, 3).

Remove the oil gallery plugs (1, 2).

Remove the lower crankcase perimeter bolts (3).
Remove and discard the crankshaft bearing bolts (1).
Gently separate the lower crankcase (2) from the block.
