Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2017 GMC Acadia. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Perform the Circuit/System Verification and Circuit/System Testing first.
  2. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the B280 Automatic Transmission Accumulator Solenoid Valve.
  3. Test for 16-20 Ω between ignition circuit terminal 1 and control circuit 2.
    • If not between 16-20 Ω 

      Replace the B280 Automatic Transmission Accumulator Solenoid Valve.

    • If between 16-20 Ω 
  4. Test for infinite resistance between each terminal and the B280 Automatic Transmission Accumulator Solenoid Valve case.
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the B280 Automatic Transmission Accumulator Solenoid Valve.

    • If infinite resistance 
  5. All OK.
