Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) 
  2. Remove Oil Level Indicator Tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement

  3. Remove Engine Oil Cooler Inlet Pipe Bolt (1)
  4. Disengage Hose Clamp (2). Refer to Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
  5. Disconnect Engine Oil Cooler Inlet Pipe (3) @ Engine Oil Cooler

  6. Remove the retainer from the quick connect fitting (1).
  7. Remove Engine Oil Cooler Inlet Pipe (2)
