Installation Procedure

NOTE:

Install a NEW O-ring seal.

Install Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Inlet Pipe O-ring Seal (1)

NOTE:

Install a NEW engine coolant thermostat housing seal.

Install Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Seal (3)
Install Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing (2)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install and tighten Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Bolts (1) (Qty: 2) to 10 N.m (89 lb in)

Insert the engine coolant thermostat housing inlet pipe (1) to the thermostat housing.

Install and tighten Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Inlet Pipe Bolt (1) to 10 N.m (89 lb in)

Install Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipes (1). Refer to Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LGX)
Install Engine Rear Noise Shield. Refer to Engine Rear Noise Shield Replacement

Install Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield (1). Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield Replacement
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
Start the engine and check for leaks.
