Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Install NEW O-ring seal.

  1. Install Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe O-Rings (2) (Qty: 2)
  2. Install Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipes (1)
    3. Fig 2: Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose, Clamp And Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Bolts

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install and tighten Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Bolts (3) (Qty: 2) to 10 N.m (89 lb in)
  4. Install Temperature Sensor Wiring Harness @ Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe
  5. Connect Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose (2)
  6. Engage Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clamp (1). Refer to Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
  7. Install Air Cleaner Outlet Duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
  8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) 
  9. Start the engine and check for leaks.
