Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify DTC P0201-P0206, P0351-P0356, P3409, P3411, P3412, P3433, P3435, or P3436 is not set.
    • If a DTC is not set 
  3. Verify engine oil level and engine oil pressure are within the specified ranges. Refer to Oil Pressure Diagnosis and Testing
    • If not within specified ranges 

      Repair as necessary.

    • If within specified ranges 
  4. Engine idling at the normal operating temperature.
  5. Verify there is no abnormal engine noise.
    • If no abnormal engine noise 
  6. Clear all DTCs using scan tool. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  7. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the DTC is not set 
  8. All OK.
