Circuit/System Verification

  1. Verify that no other DTCs set except for DTC P0650, P263A, or P263B.
    • If only DTC P0650, P263A, or P263B is set 
  2. Verify the malfunction indicator lamp turns ON and OFF when commanding the Malfunction Indicator Lamp On and Off with a scan tool.
    • If the malfunction indicator lamp does not turn ON and OFF 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the malfunction indicator lamp turns ON and OFF 
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
    • If the DTC does not set 
  4. All OK.
