Power Transfer Unit

New adoption of Power Transfer Unit has been added as an option to the system. The first Disconnect All-Wheel Drive system which responds to driver inputs and road conditions, connecting and disengaging drive to the rear axle on demand. The Power Transfer Unit consists of hall-effect sensor which measures the distance to a metallic cam profile on a piece called the rotary cam. The rotary cam is rotated in order to connect and disconnect the Power Transfer Unit, so the cam position is monitored to know if the system is in the connected or disconnected position.
