Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    The parking brake actuator mounting surfaces of the brake caliper must be clean and free of corrosion and debris.

  1. Install New Parking Brake ActuatorSeal Ring (1)

  2. Install Parking Brake Actuator (1)

    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  3. Install Parking Brake ActuatorBolt (1) and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  4. Connect the parking brake actuator electrical connector.
  5. Using an appropriate tie strap, secure the parking brake actuator electrical harness to the harness bracket.
  6. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  7. Calibrate the park brake. Park Brake Calibration
