1	Rear Window Wiper Arm Finish Cover Procedure Use a small flat-bladed tool, release the finish cap from the wiper arm.
2	Rear Window Wiper Arm Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . CAUTION: This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component. Tighten 14 N.m (124 lb in)
3	Rear Window Wiper Arm Procedure Use the J-39637 puller to remove the windshield wiper arm from the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft. Clean the pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush before installing a new windshield wiper arm. Align and position the wiper arm on the wiper motor pivot shaft. Cycle the wiper arm with a spray of solvent, PARK the wiper arm and re-check the alignment of the wiper arm on the park ramp. 14 N.m (124 lb in)

Rear Window Wiper Arm

Procedure

Use the J-39637 puller to remove the windshield wiper arm from the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft.
Clean the pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush before installing a new windshield wiper arm.
Align and position the wiper arm on the wiper motor pivot shaft.
Cycle the wiper arm with a spray of solvent, PARK the wiper arm and re-check the alignment of the wiper arm on the park ramp.
