Preliminary Procedure Remove Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement .
1	Fuel Tank Filler Door Lock Actuator Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the actuator rod from the actuator shaft, with light pressure, pressing sideways on the rod at the shafts end, and rotating the rod outward from the housing. Release the retainers while using light outward pressure on the actuator.

Fuel Tank Filler Door Lock Actuator

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the actuator rod from the actuator shaft, with light pressure, pressing sideways on the rod at the shafts end, and rotating the rod outward from the housing.
Release the retainers while using light outward pressure on the actuator.
