Diagnostic Aids

Vehicles equipped with the Passive Keyless Entry system will automatically lock all doors and the fuel door 8 seconds after the customer exits and leaves the vehicle (as may occur for gasoline stations requiring prepayment before refueling). The customer returning to the vehicle may not be aware that this a normal function and will discover the fuel door is locked and cannot be opened.

Verify the customer has been instructed and fully understands the functions of the Passive Keyless Entry system.
