Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install Mode Valve Actuator (2)
  2. Install Mode Valve Actuator Bolt (1) and tighten 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
  3. Connect the electrical connector.

  4. Install Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module (1)

  5. Install Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolt (1) and tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
  6. Connect the auxiliary heater and air conditioning wiring harness connector and ground terminal (3).
  7. Install Ground Nut (2) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  8. Install Auxiliary Air Conditioning Air Lower Duct (2) Auxiliary Air Conditioning Air Lower Duct Replacement (C69)
  9. Install Auxiliary Heater Air Outlet Duct (1)Auxiliary Heater Air Outlet Duct Replacement
  10. Install the duct temperature sensors into the ducts.

  11.   12. Install Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Nut (1) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  13. Install Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Intermediate Tube (3) @Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Intermediate Tube Replacement
  14. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)
  15. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
  16. Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf)
  17. Clear the DTCs from the heater and air conditioning remote control module.
  18. Perform the actuator calibration procedure. Actuator Recalibration 
  19. Inspect for coolant leaks.
  20. Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
