Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install Mode Valve Actuator (2) @Heater and Air Conditioning Mode Control Cam Cover (3)
  2. Mode Valve Actuator Bolt (1) and tighten 1.3 N.m (12 lb in)

  3. Install Mode Control Cam Actuator Sub-Lever - Vent Gear (3)
  4. Install Mode Control Cam (1)
  5. Install Mode Control Cam Actuator Sub-Lever - Vent (2)
  6. During installation of the mode control cam and sub - levers align the lever pins with the guide channels on the mode control cam.

  7. Install Heater and Air Conditioning Mode Control Cam Cover (1) @Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module

  8. Install Heater and Air Conditioning Mode Control Cam Cover Bolt (1) and tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

  9. Install Instrument Panel Tie Bar (2)Instrument Panel Tie Bar Replacement
  10. Perform the actuator calibration procedure. Actuator Recalibration 
  11. Clear the DTCs.
