Component Testing

- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the B153 Seat Belt Buckle.
- Test for less than 5 Ω between the signal terminal 2 and the low reference terminal 1.
- If 5 Ω or greater
Replace the B153 Seat Belt Buckle.
- If less than 5 Ω
- If 5 Ω or greater
- Insert the seat belt into the buckle.
- Test for infinite resistance between the signal terminal 2 and the low reference terminal 1.
- If less than infinite resistance
Replace the B153 Seat Belt Buckle.
- If infinite resistance
- If less than infinite resistance
- All OK.
